Are you as smart as you think you are?

We are all born with confidence receptors that trick our brains into thinking that we’re smart. It’s honestly a survival mechanism that makes each person believe they know a lot about how the universe works. When in reality, the information an individual doesn’t know, outweighs the information one DOES know by a significant amount. For example (seen on brain games) you probably aren’t even sure how exactly how a zipper works. And while you’re reading that sentence, your brain automatically went into survival mode to try and figure it out. But the point is, the simplest thing that you use one a daily basis, is something you most likely have no idea how it works. Imagine, ALL the simplest things we do every day that we don’t understand combined with everything else in the the universe. Oh wait…you should probably read that last sentence, because there was two the’s. You didn’t even notice did you. When one comes to realize that they honestly don’t know everything, it can be a pretty big let down on your brain. But not to worry, because that’s when a person can really open up their mind to endless possibilities, that they never thought of. Not to underestimate our human brain, our species is obviously the smartest of them all, but there’s much more out there than one person could EVER Possibly know. It would be IMPOSSIBLE to know everything. Even half. Take your time. And take second looks.
